The National Defense University (NDU) is pleased to announce the commencement of the 26th Convocation for the year 2024. The 26th Convocation of NDU will take place at 8:00 AM on December 28, 2024, in Bilal Auditorium at NDU, Islamabad. Eligibility for NDU 26th Convocation Registration
All students who have successfully completed their degree requirements and are eligible to graduate from NDU in the year 2024 are invited to register for the convocation. This includes undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral students from all disciplines offered at NDU.
The following FCS graduates who have not obtained degrees in absentia are eligible to register:
- PhD graduates who have completed the degree requirements after December 2022.
- M.Phil graduates of Spring & Fall 2021 entries, who have completed or will be completing their degree requirements after
- December 2022 until November 20, 2024, subject to clearance.
- BS graduates of Fall-2018 & Spring-2019 entries, who have completed their degree requirements after December 2022.
- MPhil, MSPM & BS graduates of previous entries who have completed degree requirements after December 2022 and have not yet obtained their degrees may also register after November 20, 2024, subject to availability of seats.
Graduate Registration
To ensure a smooth and efficient registration process, all graduates are required to complete their convocation registration online. The online registration portal will be accessible through the NDU website and will be open for a specified period. Graduates will need to provide their personal information, including their full name, student ID number, contact details, and degree program details.
- All graduates must register themselves and their guests online using their registration numbers (found on the registration cards). Online registration will be available from 9:00 AM on November 1, 2024, until 3:00 PM on November 20, 2024.
- Graduates must carefully fill in their details, double-check, and confirm before submitting online. Addresses should be written according to their CNIC for security purposes (hostel addresses are not allowed).
- Once data is submitted, it cannot be edited and will be used for security clearance.
- Graduates must print out the form, sign it, and personally submit it to the Examinations Branch by November 24, 2024 (registration will not be considered complete without this). The following documents must be included:
- Photocopy of Transcript or Clearance Certificate (if transcript is not available).
- Copies of SSC and graduate’s CNIC.
- Please provide a copy of the guest’s CNIC and a photograph with the graduate’s registration number and name written on the back.
- Please also provide two recent passport size photographs of the graduate with a blue background, with the registration number and name written on the back.
Graduates are required to collect their Convocation Registration Slips and Entry Passes for their guests from the Examinations Branch, NDU before the convocation rehearsal. These will be issued upon receipt of security clearance.
Graduates Guests Registration and Convocation Details
To all graduates of the upcoming convocation, please take note of the following important information:
Graduates’ Guests:
- Each graduate is allowed to have one guest from the following categories: parents, brothers, sisters, husband, wife, or children (aged 14 and above).
- To attend the convocation, guests must register online.
- Please note that seating capacity is limited, and registration will be on a first come, first serve basis.
Convocation Robes:
- Convocation robes can be obtained from your respective departments on the day of the rehearsal.
- The rehearsal will take place on Wednesday, the 27th of December 2024 at 12:30 PM in the NDU Auditorium.
