Today, we celebrate Iqbal Day, the birth anniversary of Allama Muhammad Iqbal, a great poet and philosopher who loved Pakistan very much.
Iqbal was born in Sialkot, British India, on November 9, 1877. He was a brilliant student and a devout Muslim. Iqbal was also a visionary leader who inspired the Muslim people of British India to dream of a separate homeland, which eventually became Pakistan .Iqbal’s poetry is full of wisdom and inspiration. He wrote about the importance of education, self-reliance, and Islamic values. He also encouraged the youth to work hard and strive for excellence.
Iqbal’s Message to the Youth:
“Tarkeeb-e-nau-e-zindagi se dar na kahe,
Gar to hai mard-e-momin, to kaam kar.”

Today, we celebrate Iqbal Day, the birth anniversary of Allama Muhammad Iqbal, a great poet, philosopher, and visionary leader who loved Pakistan very much. Iqbal was born on November 9, 1877, in Sialkot, British India. He was a brilliant student and excelled in both his academic and extracurricular pursuits. Iqbal was also a devout Muslim and a passionate advocate for social justice and equality .After completing his education in India and England, Iqbal returned to India and began his career as a lawyer and educator. He also began writing poetry and philosophical essays in which he expressed his ideas about the importance of education, self-reliance, and Islamic values.
Iqbal was one of the earliest proponents of the idea of a separate homeland for Muslims in British India.
“Sarzameen-e-momin, tu hai zinda, bad-e-mukhlif se na ghabrayen tu,
Khudi ko kar buland itna, ke har taaseer se pahlay hi dam toot jaye.”
