Educational Testing and Evaluation Agency Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is an educational institution founded in November 1998 through the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. In the beginning, ETEA was established to administer Entrance Tests for admission into Engineering and Medical provincial institutions to replace external testing agencies in place of external testing. The nature of the activities and objectives of the ETEA Widened them to include more than the Entrance Tests stated in the Ordinance.

In reality, the ETEA Test is scheduled for June/July. On the 10th of October, the last time was held due to COVID-19. The test was held in Peshawar, Nowshera, Charsadda, Mardan, Swabi, Abbottabad, Haripur, Swat, Chakdara, Timergara, Kohat, Bannu, D.l. Khan, and Batkhela. After getting their 12th class results, Students can submit an application for the ETEA exam to be taken for entrance.
