- Candidates must hold MBBS/BDS degrees from a recognized university (BDS professionals can be accepted into Master in Health Administration, Master in Public Health as well as Master in Management of Hospitals Management courses only)
- For candidates who are not private, the experience of work will be credited from the year of graduation.
- For M.Phil candidates must hold at minimum two years of experience as a teacher with Community Medicine or of its different subspecialties at an accredited institution
- The applicants who have not used deputation in the past three years prior to the date of submission of their application are admissible to admission.
- Admission to the service of an Institute of Public Health employee will be at the sole discretion of the Dean.
- Candidates from Health Departments of the federal/provincial government, armed forces city district authorities, railways, and other autonomous organizations must submit an application directly to the Dean of the Institute of Public Health Lahore using the prescribed form and send an original copy sent through the proper process
- The candidates who are government employees or serving in autonomous organizations will be allowed to join the course only when permitted in writing by their parent department/organization/institution
- A candidate who does not enroll within 15 days of the beginning of the course or session will be dismissed and the following candidate(s) on the merit list is recommended to fill the empty seat. Institute Of Public Health Admission will not be granted within 30 days after the start of the course.
