How to register for the HEC Law Graduate Assessment Test GAT 2024

To enroll for the HEC Law Graduate Assessment Test GAT 2024, please follow the steps below:

1. Visit the designated link for online registration: http://etc.hec.gov.pk.
2. If you encounter any difficulties during the online registration process, you can refer to onlinehelp.hec.gov.pk for assistance. Alternatively, you can seek guidance at the HEC Secretariat or HEC Regional Centers.
3. The registration process consists of two steps. First, complete your profile by accessing the “My Profile” section. Then, submit your application through the “Law Graduate Assessment Test” link located in the left-hand side menu panel on the online portal.
4. It is important to note that applications must be submitted in order to be considered for the Law-GAT Test. Applications in SAVE or INCOMPLETE status will not be entertained.

5. A test fee of Rs. 3000/- should be deposited through participating Banks, ATM, Internet Banking, Mobile Banking, Easypaisa, JazzCash, or Upaisa using the 1Link 1Bill invoice.
6. After selecting the 1Link 1Bill Invoice payment service, open or sign in to your mobile app. Click on Bill, select 1Bill Invoice payment services, and enter the consumer number generated by the ETC portal. Review the details and proceed to make the payment.

7. Once the fee has been deposited through 1Link 1Bill Invoice, click on “Verify Online Payment” on the ETC Dashboard.
8. Please note that the test fee is non-refundable and non-transferable. It is important to resolve any queries or complaints before the closure of the web registration portal.

9. On the day of the test, it is mandatory to bring a printout of the paid fee receipt via 1Link, along with your Roll Number Slip and Original CNIC/Original Passport. The paid fee receipt via 1Link is a requirement for entry into the test center. Candidates without these documents will not be permitted to sit for the exam.
