On the occasion of National Celebrations of the 75th Independence Anniversary of Pakistan, the Government of Pakistan announces 40 Ph.D. and 35 MS scholarships for Pakistani and Azad Kashmir nationals who wish to study in the world’s top 25 institutions (QOS as well as Times Higher Education (THE) Rankings only). The eligibility criteria for 75 National Top Talent Scholarships 2024 is described below in details. The scholarship period is two years for MS and four years to complete a Ph.D. The deadline for submitting the National Top Talent Scholarship application is the 21st of March, 2024.

Eligibility Criteria for 75 National Top Talent Scholarships 2024
i. Confirmed/Unconditional Admission/Enrollment in selected subjects in any of the Top 25 Ranked Universities (QS/Times Higher Education).
ii. Applicant must be a Pakistani/Azad Kashmiri national
a. To be eligible for MS Scholarships, required: BS/BE/Masters or equivalent 16 years of schooling in the relevant fields of study
b. For Ph.D. Scholarships MS/MPhil/ME or equivalent
From 18 to 18 years old in the relevant field of study.
iii ) Applicants must have a minimum CGPA of 3.0 in
4.0 in the semester system or 1st division (in the annual
system) in BS/BE/Masters/equivalent for MS scholarships
And MS/MPhil/ME/Equivalent degree for Ph.D. Scholarships.
iv. One-second division maximum throughout the academic life before awarding the final degree.
V. Age at which the maximum age is reached at the time of the advertisement:
a. 40 years for full-time regular Faculty Members of Public Sector Universities/Colleges or employees of the Public Sector organization.
b. 35 years for the rest of us.
vi. You cannot be a recipient of any other award. (in case of an applicant for one part of those scholarships offered by the HEC Scholarship Scheme must provide the NOC for that scholarship program).
vii. Employees of any Public Sector University/organization need to submit a NOC to apply for the scholarship from their organization.
